It is compatible with Android devices and many of the great simulator and FPV apps available on the Google Play store. The WS1000 also takes R/C Simulators on the go.

Simply plug in the WS1000 into a USB port on your PC or laptop, set the simulator for Spektrum radio input and you're ready to start racing. First off the dongles that i have seen work are the interlink that's used with RealFlight7.5 and a usb dongle that works with all sims. So, here is this guide to help others get going. I got it minutes after release and quickly saw that there were many issues with the configurations on the dx8 for use with the game. Dig around on some forums or email Knife Edge directly if you still want to use it and can't find a good answer.I followed this game since day one of announcement and finally had the chance to use it myself. I think you would be better off using their transmitter than a DX5e, but that's just me. Doesn't sound like a big deal but I quickly realized how convenient that feature was. There are also buttons on it that allow you to reset the plane, select a different plane, airfield, etc. The transmitter that came with my copy of RF 6.5 is actually nice and smooth. This would be a pain if you're charging it at night for the next day and want to use the sim. You also will have to make sure your transmitter is charged when you want to fly. It will take some of the fun out of the simulation when you have to press a button on the keyboard to drop your landing gear or flaps. However, I would like to point out that you will be using a basic 5 channel transmitter with 7 or 8 channel aircraft.

You should be able to, but I'm not 100% on whether or not that particular transmitter will work.
